At Lakeside Village, minimising our environmental impact is something we are passionate about.

We have pledged to increase our site waste recycling to 80%, increase recycling opportunities for customers and maintain our environment by litter picking once a quarter.

We are really proud of our achievements so far but well aware we can all do more to reduce our environmental impact. We are always open to suggestions and ideas from customers and neighbouring businesses on how to keep improving, so we can all protect our environment.”

As part of the centre’s commitment to reducing waste, a host of recycling opportunities are available for customers looking to ‘Think Green’. As well as staff opportunities to recycle coffee pods, pallets & other waste onsite.

Including our new recycling section located in guest services, made entirely out of recycled materials. Here you will be able to recycle items such as plastic bottles, PPE, printer cartridges, bras (supporting Against Breast Cancer Care), household batteries & bedding/blankets/towers (supporting The RSPCA).
