Covid Vaccination Centre

The Covid Vaccination Centre is currently open on Saturday’s 10am-3pm until further notice.

Have any other questions about the Autumn booster, please contact 119 – open Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm (including bank holidays), and on Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 4pm.

The vaccine centre is located in unit 50 at Lakeside Village which is next to the Cadbury’s store.

The Covid Vaccination Centre at Lakeside Village will be closed until 7th January 2023. It will then be open Sat 10-15:00 throughout January.

 

From January 7 2023, the planned opening hours are:

The Joint Committee on Vaccination and immunisation (JCVI) has advised who should be offered a COVID-19 booster vaccine in autumn 2022.

This includes:

  • residents in a care home for older adults and staff working in care homes for older adults
  • frontline health and social care workers
  • all adults aged 65 years and over (this will open to adults over 50 years later in the programme)
  • persons aged 5 to 49 years in a clinical risk group
  • persons aged 5 to 49 years who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression
  • persons aged 16 to 49 years who are carers

Currently there is little or no queuing time.

Yes, please bring one with you where possible, you will not be permitted on site without one.

If you are unable to receive the same vaccination for your second dose you may be offered an alternative.
