Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping, Doncaster is looking for a part time Digital Marketing & Content Executive, with a passion for all things digital, to join the team.

Purpose of the role

Working alongside the Placemaking, Marketing & Communications Manager, this newly created site-based role will have responsibility for developing and executing the digital strategy for Lakeside Village and its brand partners. The role will include collaborating with external design and digital agencies to deliver compelling digital campaigns to increase visitor numbers to Lakeside Village.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the organic social media content creator developing inspiring content across Facebook, Instagram & Tiktok to drive engagement and build brand loyalty
  • To manage paid social campaigns
  • To plan & create inspiring, engaging digital content to support key marketing campaigns to drive footfall and spend
  • To manage the website content, liaising regularly with brand partners to showcase their store, stories & offers
  • To plan, manage and report on email marketing activities
  • To create monthly digital activity reports with recommendations for improvement
  • To keep up with the latest digital marketing trends and ensuring content is developed to maximise engagement
  • To work closely with the Placemaking, Marketing & Communications Manager across the marketing mix to drive Lakeside Village brand awareness
  • To support the management team to deliver value to key stakeholders including the client and brand partners

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Candidates will be required to demonstrate the following:

Work Experience

  • You will have 18 months+ experience in a digital marketing or social media role
  • Knowledge or experience of working in the retail sector would be desirable

Qualifications/Training

  • Essential: A degree/qualification in Digital Marketing, Social Media, Communications, PR, or related discipline (BA Hons, CIM, Google Digital Garage etc) or related work experience

Key Competencies

  • A genuine passion for social media marketing, content creation and identifying digital marketing trends
  • A creative writer able to develop and adapt engaging copy for different audiences and channels
  • A confident communicator who can work closely with the management team and brand partners
  • A diligent worker who can mange their own time effectively to deliver projects and tasks in a timely manner
  • A team-player with a can-do attitude, happy to work outside of their responsibilities to get the job done

Working Hours/Salary

This is a part time role, based in the management office at Lakeside Village in Doncaster. The role is 20 hours spread across 4 days (must include Monday and Friday).

Salary £12,800 (Equivalent of £24,000 full-time)
